Visitor Center
Located at the front of the park, in close proximity to the camp sites, the Visitor Center serves as base headquarters. The interpretive displays have been moved out and furniture has been brought in. Cots surround the main room for survivors and the concession has been converted for food dispersal. The book store serves as a library. Other rooms have also been converted for specific purposes, like the conference room is now used by the leaders to talk and for rangers and hunters to plan routes. Everything is lit by lanterns and the sky lights have been removed for ventilation.

Around Camp
This section encompasses the amenities available around camp. Several fire pits run along the river with seating around them. A water pump is located centrally and allows for fresh water that doesn't need to be boiled. Outhouses provide a place for people to take care of business and a small playground gives the kids someplace to play. It isn't much, just some swings, a slide and a merry-go-round.

Badlands
Sandstone formations rise out of the scrub in colors of orange, beige and red (when not covered with snow). Shaped by wind and water over time, the area offers a lonely sort of beauty. More importantly it offers plenty of places to hide, it can be a confusing area for those that aren’t familiar with it.

West Annex
The west annex consists of the area where new patients would be received and processed. Guests first enter the spacious lobby featuring a waiting area and reception desk. Granite counters and tiled floors mark the fact that this was once a desirable facility, although as the lobby flooded when spring arrived, there is a certain amount of water damage.

Day Room
The large day room has been rearranged is is now used primarily for eating. Several round tables with mismatched chairs have been arranged by some consciousness patient but the plants that once thrived in the bright space are long since dead in their pots. A cheerful shade of yellow wall was meant to offer comfort to the patients that spent their time there.

Sleeping Quarters
Each Suite consists of partitioned sleeping areas, separated by temporary walled partitions to allow for semi-privacy. The beds are comfortable, double sized, and each section has a dresser and bedside table. Civilians share the former staff rooms which are cramped with four single beds per room.

Outside
Edgewood is surrounded by an 8 foot tall fence, for the safety of the inhabitants. The manicured lawns and gardens have suffered during the long winter but the greenhouses are in decent enough shape to be salvaged. The entire facility encompasses over 30 acres although the main fence only surrounds the facility, green house, barn and lawns. To enter the trails, they must leave through a secondary gate. The trails are fenced but not as securely.

Free Range
Neither within the confines of the park or the smaller area belonging to the center. These areas are wild, more likely to find game and shells. Your luck determines which. Nomads also roam these areas, it’s a rough life without many secure places.
